Phuket Smart Bus links the airport with Surin, Kamala, Patong, Karon, Kata and Rawai. Its operator currently publishes a ฿100 flat single fare on the airport route and accepts contactless cards, Thai QR payment and cash.

This is best for light luggage and accommodation near a stop. Confirm the current timetable and the walking distance from the Patong stop to the hotel before committing.

Taxi or app-based ride

A taxi or app ride avoids a bus-to-hotel walk and can be practical for two or more passengers. Use an authorised counter or follow the pickup point shown by the app, confirm the destination and price basis, and match the driver and vehicle before boarding.

Travel time varies substantially with west-coast traffic, rain and time of day. A quoted journey time is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Pre-booked private transfer

A transfer provides an agreed booking reference and meeting arrangement, which helps after a long flight or when travelling with child seats or unusual luggage. Give the flight number so the operator can monitor delays.
